Bea Rose Santiago celebrates 10 years since winning Miss International
It’s been 10 years since Bea Rose Santiago was crowned Miss International and on Instagram, the beauty queen honored the milestone.
Among the photos she shared were from her coronation, handwritten letters from supporters, time with her fellow beauty queens including Pia Wurtzbach, and her welcome parade.
Bea got sentimental and grateful in her caption, saying “10 years. I am thankful for the people that touched my heart and gave their support."
“Remember that all struggles are gifts from God and all things comes together for good. As long as we have each other, there will be Hope,” Bea added.
Bea Rose was crowned Miss International 2013 at a ceremony in Tokyo, Japan. She became the fifth Filipino to win Miss International when she bested 66 other contestants.
Following her win, Bea was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease in 2018.
In 2020, she revealed that she undergoes dialysis five times a week. She successfully had a kidney transplant in 2022, donated by her younger brother.
